Sardaar Gabbar singh collections
Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh released on Ugadi amid never seen before hype and hoopla. With more than 105 crores riding on it from the pre-release business in Telugu, Hindi and overseas, Sardaar stunned everyone when it collected nearly 29 plus crore worldwide share, wiping out even Baahubali's records in several centres.
However, the happiness bubble burst in no time for fans and trade circles as Sardaar's collections nosedived from day 2. At the end of its first weekend, Sardaar has ended up collecting 30.82 crore share film AP and Telangana, while it collected 3.72 crore from overseas, 3.88 crore from Karnataka, 1.22 from Rest of India and around 1.07 crore from the rest of the world.
With a disappointing total of 40.71 crore worldwide share in the opening weekend, distributors were desperately hoping for the film to do miracles to swim through the tide with minor losses. However, Sardaar's Monday collection estimates are really poor with several centres registering very low occupancy and the film is heading to become an all-time biggest disaster in Tollywood's history.
