Rana, Venkatesh in Vikram Vedha Telugu remake

If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, Baahubali star Rana Daggubati and Victory Venkatesh are going to team up for the Telugu remake of Tamil film ‘Vikram Vedha’.

R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tamil gangster drama "Vikram Vedha", directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, has opened to rave reception from critics and fans in Tamil Nadu. In fact, the film became a game changer at the box office, especially after the imposition of the GST. 

Vikram Vedha which has turned out blockbuster at the box office, is going to be remade in Telugu. The sources say that talk has been initiated and currently everything is in initial stage. Nothing is yet finalized. The process might take a few more months.

Vikram Vedha has grossed over Rs 40 Cr worldwide in its first week in cinemas. 

During the media interaction the producer Sashikanth said, “ It’s too early to talk about the remake. But yes, talks are on for the remake. But nothing has been confirmed yet."

Vikram Vedha is all about the story of an honest cop Vikram (R Madhavan), who's on a mission to nab a notorious gangster Vedha (Vijay Sethupathi). The film also stars Shraddha Srinath, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Kathir in important roles.
